SPIRITUAL FORMATION SESSIONS
A sacred space to slow down,
listen deeply, and tend to your soul.
We all go through seasons when faith feels distant, life feels heavy, or we’re not quite sure where God is in the story. If you’re in a place of spiritual dryness, transition, longing, or even deconstruction — you're not alone.

Spiritual Formation Sessions are one-on-one, ongoing conversations designed to help you reconnect with God and with your own soul. These sessions are gentle, grace-filled, and rooted in the belief that transformation happens not through pressure, but through presence.

Whether you’re discerning your next step, grieving something unspoken, navigating a shift in your faith, or just longing to feel God’s nearness again — this is a space for you.
What to expect:
-
55-minute sessions (virtual or in person)
-
Biweekly or monthly rhythm
-
A space to reflect, rest, and explore what your soul is carrying
-
Integration of spiritual practices like breath prayer, lectio divina, silence, imaginative prayer, or journaling
-
No pressure to perform — just room to be and belong
Good for those who are:
-
Longing for deeper connection with God
-
Wrestling with doubt or spiritual wounds
-
Seeking spiritual rhythms in a busy or burnout season
-
Discouraged, exhausted, or unsure where to begin
-
Leading others but needing care for themselves
How is this different from therapy?
-
There is natural overlap — both spaces are relational, reflective, and honor your story.
-
Often, the places where we feel stuck with God are connected to deeper wounds, past experiences, or unmet needs.
-
In therapy, we may explore how trauma, relationships, or identity struggles have shaped your emotional world. In Spiritual Formation Sessions, the focus is on how those experiences impact your spiritual life — your view of God, your sense of belovedness, your ability to rest, trust, or feel connected.
-
This space is centered on tending to your soul’s relationship with God — not to analyze it, but to gently nurture and be present to it.
-
If emotional or therapeutic needs arise, we can name them together and discern what kind of support would be most helpful for you.
Why I Offer Spiritual Formation Sessions:

Over the years — through ministry, missions, and now counseling — I’ve sat with so many people who love God deeply, but quietly carry disconnection, disappointment, exhaustion, or big questions they aren’t sure they’re allowed to ask.

I know how often we keep those questions tucked away, unsure if we’ll be met with grace or judgment. I’ve seen how spiritual pressure can silence pain and how easy it is to forget we’re still held — even when faith feels fragile.

Spiritual formation has been sacred ground in my own story — the slow, tender work of remembering God’s nearness, even in the silence, and learning to rest in the truth that we don’t have to perform to be loved.

As a counselor, I hold space every day for people navigating heartache, transition, identity, and faith. These sessions flow from that same heart — integrating the emotional and the spiritual, the questions and the hope, the ache and the becoming.

I offer this because I believe we all need spaces where faith can breathe — where we can show up honestly, without shame, and be met with compassion and care.

If you’re longing to reconnect with God, to listen for what your soul is really saying, or to rediscover that you’re still held — even here — there’s room for you.
